Special Recoginition

On June 2, we conducted a 3-hour long belt test. The group test included intermediate, advance students, and 1 student testing to black belt. It was also a special recognition for our assistant instructors: Sihing Colby Woo, Sijeh Julia Pearl-Styles, Sihing Carey Woo, and Sijeh Lorelei Cortez. Our assistant instructors were officially awarded with an instructor belt and recognized with the title of Sihing or Sijeh.

As a tradition, our black belt and instructor ceremony starts off with the wine offering and incensing to the Gwan Dai known as the God of War, General Kwan. General Kwan was a famous warrior in China.
